OJAI, Calif. -- Members of the Point Loma Nazarene men's and women's tennis teams are competing at the 112th Annual 114th Annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament held Thursday-Saturday.
The Sea Lions fared well at the event.
Gregory de Andrade reached the men's singles quarterfinals with he and
Tyler Bowman appearing in the semis of the men's double's draw.
Hope Penner won two matches in the women's singles draw. She and
Maika Adair reached the round of 16 before falling.
PLNU has one more regular season match left on the docket in 2012: on May 7 both men's and women's squads will travel to Azusa Pacific with play starting at 1:30pm. After that, the Sea Lions head to Mobile, Ala., to compete in their last-ever NAIA National Championships which begin on May 15.
